A living record of motherhood, wellness, and the memories that shape a life.

My story

I’m Lauren, a mama to a beautiful little girl, navigating my twenties with my high school sweetheart, Will. We’ve been together since we were 14 — growing up side by side, building a life slowly, and learning as we go.

This space began years ago as a simple creative outlet — a place to share recipes, thoughts, and pieces of daily life. Over time, it grew alongside me. What started as food photos and wellness habits in high school and college eventually became part of my work in nutrition, and more importantly, a place to capture the memories I was making along the way.

As my life has shifted into motherhood, this space has shifted too. Our Memory Lain is where I want to document this season — the everyday moments, the quiet routines, the changes, and the memories I know I’ll want to look back on one day. It’s less about having it all figured out, and more about paying attention to the life that’s happening right now.

An Ode To My Mama

My mama was the kind of mother who created the best memories — the kind that stay with you long after childhood ends. She made everyday life feel meaningful, safe, and full of love. As I step into motherhood myself, I carry that example with me and hope to pass that same feeling on to my daughter.

This space is my way of holding onto those moments — for myself, for my family, and for the people who find connection here too.

This is my place to keep the memories

as they’re being made.
